The problem

AI is everywhere. Knowing where to use it is not.

There are plenty of tools and plenty of opinions. What a promoter needs is a short list of jobs, a prompt for each, and a way to check the answer before it goes public.

  1. Every tool promises everything.

Models, plans and prices change month to month. The guide picks tools by job, with a dated price table and a one-page monthly check, so your stack does not go stale.

  2. Prompts get written from scratch.

A prompt that names the facts it may use, asks questions first and says what the answer should look like is one you can reuse. The library has 101, each with variables and a check.

  3. The output sounds like everyone else.

The guide shows how to build a voice pack from your own posts and emails, and how to strip the habits that make AI copy easy to spot.

  4. Nobody checks the answers.

A model writes fluent text whether or not it knows the answer. A five-fact check on every draft, and a named person who signs off, keeps wrong dates and prices off your channels.

What you get

Five things, one download.

Inside the guide.

Twenty-five chapters in eight parts, with four appendices. The free sample has the Welcome, chapter 1 and chapter 3.

  1. Choose a small stack on purpose, switch on the privacy settings and write prompts that give you something you can check.

    • Chapter 1: where AI helps across a campaign, three ways it goes wrong and how to measure the time you save
    • Chapter 2: models by job, a dated price table, what each plan does with your content and a starter stack with five slots
    • Chapter 3: the seven parts of a prompt, grounding it in facts and the five-fact check
  2. Copy in your voice, images and video, and ad creative tested with a plan instead of a guess.

    • Chapter 4: a voice pack, one message across five stages and four channels, and claims rules
    • Chapter 5: a pipeline by job for stills, layouts, motion, voice and music, what one asset costs and rights in plain English
    • Chapter 6: hypotheses first, a variant matrix and a keep, kill or scale rule
  3. Research, reporting and forecasting with numbers you can verify by hand.

    • Chapter 7: a competitor teardown in an afternoon, and what a model can and cannot infer about an audience
    • Chapter 8: export first, connect second, and reconciling platform numbers to your own registrations
    • Chapter 9: let the model write the formula and the sheet do the sum, with five hand checks for any figure
  4. Small tools, short skills, connectors and automations, each with a human gate. Optional if you want a no-code routine.

    • Chapter 10: build, buy or skip, and three starter tools with acceptance tests
    • Chapter 11: prompt, skill, project or agent, and an autonomy ladder with stop rules
    • Chapter 12: MCP in plain English, read-only first and prompt-injection warnings
    • Chapter 13: automations worth building across WhatsApp, email, CRM and reports, with a stop rule and a log
  5. Replies to customers, data protection, copyright, platform rules and a policy a small team can follow.

    • Chapter 14: three lanes for customer replies, a person sends, and when to say a bot wrote it
    • Chapter 15: what not to paste, real people and rights, claims you can prove, a QA routine, a one-page policy and a risk register. General information, not legal advice
  6. What it costs, what it saves, and a 30-day plan that turns the guide into a routine.

    • Chapter 16: one cost line per workflow, reading the price and then the billing basis, and counting your own minutes
    • Chapter 17: four weekly blocks, roles for a solo promoter or a small team, a stop-doing list and a day-30 scorecard
  7. All 40 lessons of the AI for Event Marketers course, as written walkthroughs and exercises, with benchmark images.

    • Chapter 18: the foundations: the stack, Cursor, models, tokens and cost, and what the stack costs
    • Chapter 19: the creative lab: image and video models side by side on the same briefs, with the benchmark galleries. Images are AI-generated and captioned that way
    • Chapter 20: build, models and tickets: how a website works, tracking, one key for many models and using ticketing platform APIs
    • Chapter 21: operate day to day: inboxes, social, ads from your editor, your CRM and WhatsApp communities
    • Chapters 22 to 25: the course workbook: for each of the 40 lessons, a walkthrough, an exercise and watch-outs, in four chapters that follow the lessons
  8. The directory, the prompt library, the glossary and the map back to the course.

    • A: the verified resource directory, with checked-on dates
    • B: the prompt library, with seven prompts printed in full and an index of all 101
    • C: the glossary and the monthly model check
    • D: the course lesson map, with the page where each of the 40 lessons is covered

A prompt from the library

A prompt you can copy and use today.

This is prompt P-01-01 from chapter 1, word for word. It tells the model to use only what you give it, to ask questions first, and to return a table you can check. The square brackets are the variables you fill in.

The job
Map my campaign calendar to AI jobs
When to use it
Once at the start, then whenever your workload changes.

Check before you use the answer

  • Read the Human only rows first. Money, safety, refunds, consent and named people should be there
  • Test the three starter picks against your own sense of risk
  • Ignore any claim about time saved and measure it yourself with the time-saved log
Prompt Fill in the [brackets]
You are a marketing operations adviser for live events. Use ONLY the information I give you. Do not invent tools, prices, results or time savings. If anything is missing, ask me up to five short questions first and wait for my answers.

About me: I promote [EVENT TYPE] with a capacity of [CAPACITY]. The work is done by [TEAM]. Tools I already pay for: [TOOLS I ALREADY PAY FOR].

My recurring tasks, one per line, with how often I do each:
[TASK LIST]

For each task give its stage (planning, launch, on-sale or post-event), a label (AI drafts, AI transforms, AI checks or Human only), what I must supply, what I must check before it goes public, and the cost of a mistake (low, medium or high) with a one-line reason.

Format: a table with the columns Task, Stage, Label, I supply, I check, Risk. Then name the three tasks I should try first (done often, cheap if wrong) with one reason each. End with a list called Assumptions.

What a good answer looks like

A table with one row per task you listed and nothing you did not list.

The three starter picks are frequent, low-risk drafting jobs, for example weekly caption drafts, not rare or high-risk ones, for example refund replies. It ends with a short Assumptions list.

The prompt library gives every prompt a check, a note on a good answer and a model note. This one works on any capable chat model, with no file upload or web search needed.

Is it for you?

Built for promoters. Honest about the limits.

It's for you if

  • You promote or market ticketed events and want a working AI routine in 30 days.
  • You would rather start from a prompt with a check than a blank chat.
  • You are happy to read what the AI gives you before it goes public. No coding is needed for the starter path.

It's not for you if

  • You want AI to run your marketing with nobody checking it.
  • You want a guarantee of sales or a promise of hours saved. The guide shows you how to time your own work. It does not claim a number.
  • You need enterprise AI governance, procurement or legal advice.
  • You want a Meta ads tutorial or a DIY website and WhatsApp set-up. Those are other E Labs guides, and this one says so.

Read this before you buy

What it does and does not do.

This is Edition 1, October 2026. Facts were checked on 5 October 2026. Where the guide quotes a number it carries a label: Measured, Mixed, Planning assumption or External.

  • Dated, not promised.

Model names, plans and prices are as of October 2026 and they move fast. Check a plan page before you pay for it. The monthly model check, a one-page routine, shows you how to re-check your own stack.

  • No time-saving claims.

The guide does not say AI saves you a set number of hours. Chapters 1 and 16 show you how to time three of your own tasks, with and without AI, and keep a log.

  • The prompts are starting points.

Every prompt comes with a check, and the guide teaches you to test each one on your own events. It does not publish results of running every prompt on every model.

  • General information, not legal advice.

The notes on data protection, copyright, platform AI labels and advertising claims summarise public regulator and platform pages as of October 2026. Check the current rule before you rely on it.

  • E Labs has an interest.

E Labs also sells other event marketing guides and a course, and builds the Reggie registration platform. Where one of them is the right tool, the guide says so and labels it. Every other tool is named because it does the job.

  • Not a guarantee.

Your event, audience, price and creative still matter. Nothing here promises registrations or ticket sales.

A 255-page PDF guide, a prompt library of 101 prompts (CSV), a tool directory of 104 tools and links (CSV), and a pack of five AI skills (zip). You also get companion files: a one-page AI policy with a pre-publish checklist, a time-saved log with a three-task test, and a monthly model check card.

One companion zip holds all the companion files together. After payment you can download everything straight away. It is a single payment of £59, with no subscription.

No. The Starter path is chapters 1 to 9 and 14 to 17. It gives you a working routine with no code: copy, images, research, reporting and safe replies. The Builder path adds chapters 10 to 13 for small tools, skills, connectors and automations, and is optional.

Chapters 18 to 25 are the course companion: 18 to 21 cover the course topics and 22 to 25 are a workbook with a walkthrough and an exercise for every lesson. You can read them beside the course or on their own.

Any capable chat assistant will run the prompts, and each prompt has a model note. The guide chooses tools by job, then shows one dated example, so it still helps if a model is renamed. Chapter 2 gives you a starter stack with five slots.

The tool directory lists each tool with its free tier and data-training setting, so you can start on free plans and see what changes when you pay. Chapter 16 puts a cost on each workflow.

E Labs has an AI for Event Marketers video course with 40 lessons. Chapters 18 to 21 cover the course topics with the benchmark images, chapters 22 to 25 give every lesson a written walkthrough and exercise, and Appendix D shows the page where each lesson is covered. Course prices and client figures are not reprinted.

You do not need the course to use the guide. The guide stands on its own.

It is written for promoters, small agencies and in-house marketers at venues and festivals who already sell tickets. The jobs are the same for a club night or a festival: copy, creative, research, reporting, replies and checks. It is not aimed at teams that need enterprise AI governance or procurement.

We won't give you a number, because we can't know your tasks. The guide gives you a method instead: time three of your own tasks by hand, then with AI, and count the minutes you spend checking the output. The time-saved log is in the download.

Each skill is a folder with SKILL.md, the instructions, and TESTS.md, three test cases to run before you rely on it. There is no installer. Copy the folder into the skills folder of your AI tool, or paste the text into a project or a new chat.

Every skill suggests or drafts. None of them sends, publishes, buys or changes anything.

No. The Event Launch Guide is about the pre-sale registration launch, and the Event Meta Ads Playbook is about planning Meta ads. This guide is about using AI across the whole job. Some topics touch, and the guide points you to the other two where they are the better place to go.

We have not set up a discount for existing owners, and the bundle has no credit for a guide you already own. See "Should I buy this guide or the bundle?" below.

This is Edition 1, October 2026, with facts checked on 5 October 2026. We have not promised updates or free upgrades, so please buy it for what it is today. The monthly model check shows you how to re-check models, plans and prices yourself.
